How to enroll (step-by-step)
- Apply online or by paper.
- Submit documentation required by the school and clinical partners (e.g., identity, health/immunization clearances as required by sites).
- Choose a cohort (Day/Evening) and attend orientation.
- Sign the Enrollment Agreement and receive your course calendar.
Eligibility (summary)
To be eligible for enrollment, the applicant must:
Be at least 16 years of age.
Sign this Enrollment Agreement.
Possess a high school diploma or recognized equivalent (e.g., GED, HiSet).
Achieve a score of 80% or higher on the Basic English and Math proficiency exam.
Provide a valid U.S. government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License, State ID, Passport, or Permanent Resident Card).
Provide documentation of seasonal influenza vaccination.
(Optional) Provide documentation of COVID-19 vaccination and booster.
Submit the following documentation from a licensed physician prior to the clinical portion of the program:
Proof of at least one MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccine
Tetanus vaccination within the last 10 years
TB test (skin test or chest x-ray) within the last 12 months
Confirmation of immunity to Varicella (Chickenpox)
Physical examination confirming fitness to perform clinical duties
Refunds & student rights (required disclosure)
- If funding is later denied, the student may terminate the agreement for a full refund minus allowable admin costs.
- Early withdrawal window: before 5 school days or 5% of program—full refund minus allowable admin costs and non-reusable supplies.
- Transcripts are not withheld for non-payment. See Enrollment Agreement for details.
Key policies
- Attendance: 100% required; make-up hours at instructor discretion within program timeline.
- Satisfactory progress: ≥75% on written/skills, full hours, and competencies per MA DPH.
- Weather & emergencies: closures/delays announced; missed hours must be made up.
Deadlines
- Rolling admission; cohorts fill on a first-come basis.
