FAQ’s

4 weeks / 110 hours (75 classroom/lab + 25 clinical).

This policy outlines the scheduling expectations for students participating in clinical experiences through Tri Hearts Skills Center. The goal is to ensure students understand and are prepared to meet the professional and scheduling requirements of their training programs. All clinical rotations arranged through Tri Hearts Skills Center will take place during daytime hours only. Students must plan accordingly to make themselves available during the day for these required training experiences.

Yes—Day 8:00–2:30 and Evening 4:00–9:30, Monday–Friday (subject to availability).

You will receive 2 certificates,  home health aide and  nursing assistant certificate.

Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for student success, professional development, and completion of the Dual Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aide Program. Tri-Hearts Skill Center requires students to complete 100% of the 120 program hours, which include classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction.

Grading Policy

Throughout the program, there are Two (2) exams, Midterm and a final exam. Each exam is worth 50% of your grade

  1. Classroom Grading
  • A minimum average of 75% is required on all written exams to pass the classroom portion.
  • Students scoring below 75% should meet with the instructor for a review.
  • Students with more than one score below 75% must meet with the instructor.
  • Failure to achieve a 75% average will result in failure of the Nursing Assistant Training Program.
  1. Clinical Grading
  • The clinical portion of the course is graded on a Pass/Fail
  • Students must demonstrate all required skills according to the DPH Competency Checklist and perform safely and professionally.
  • A Pass is required to complete the program. Students who receive a Fail in clinical training will not successfully complete the program.

The school does not guarantee a job but makes every effort to assist students in finding jobs.

We notify students by email/text/portal; missed hours must be made up.

Grievance, Appeal Process & Non-retaliation Policy

Tri-Hearts Skill Center encourages students to resolve concerns fairly and respectfully. All complaints must be submitted in writing, and students will not face retaliation for filing a grievance.

  • Step 1: Submit a written complaint to the instructor. The instructor will respond in writing within three (3) business days.
  • Step 2: If unresolved, forward the complaint to the Program Director, who will investigate and respond within three (3) business days.
  • Step 3: If still dissatisfied, the student may appeal in writing to the School Administrator within five (5) business days. The Administrator’s decision is final.
  • If the complaint involves the instructor, it should be sent directly to the Program Director.
